5. -nice fitness center and small outdoor (usually devoid of guests) poolCONS:-no tub in regular room (tub in suites only)-tiny fridge -analog programming (such a waste on a great big HDTV set)-slow HSIA (oxymoron?)-easily-clogged toilet (outlet tube seems unusually small); were they replaced during the renovation, or are they the old ones?.

8. Location- its about a 5 minute walk to the start of all the big shopping in Waikiki, a 5 minute walk to the beach, and I felt completely safe walking as a single woman.

10. Parking fees seemed a little steep, but as our car hadn't arrived yet, we walked everywhere :) My one complaint was that the in-room internet was $10 per day, but the lobby provides free wi-fi and internet via the business center computers, so it's really not a big complaint.
