6. Situated in between the Royal Hawaiian Hotel (the Pink Palace) and featured in the movie 'Gidget Goes Hawaiian' and the Moana Surfrider Hotel, the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is certainly an exceptional hotel.

7. We were on the 15th floor and the view was good except people from the hotel next door could look into your room - not as great a view as at the Aston Circlethough, where you can get an ocean front view for a whole lot less.

8. We had breakfast at the Hula Grill every morning and except for the chocolate chip pancakes (which were just pancakes with tonnes of chocolate chips heaped on top) everything was quite good.
