3. POSITIVES: We enjoyed the overall ambiance, found the front desk folks to be friendly, and we really appreciated the guided tour of the hotel that Tina cheerfully gave us, explaining all the wonderful history and movie star visits and the alleged ghosts.

4. This is a great historic hotel with a wonderful history and a definite charm, but it is not fully renovated and has quirks unique to older buildings.

9. She said she wasnt sure if there were going to be any available rooms, and that I had to go at 3 pm to see (the checking out in this other hotel was 11 am, so I had like 4 hrs to wonder around with all my luggage and wait and see if I was going to be able to get a room).
