1. The room was very clean and nice the only complaint is the temp control no cool air available suggested turning the thermostat down and using the fan, the room was still too hot luckily the window opened to get some cool air in the room.

2. I had never heard of a hotel that limited heating and cooling ability, especially with Indianapolis weather unpredictable.

3. So in my case, where it was a temperate early december weekend (approx 45 degrees) the room was 75 degrees+, there is with no way to set the room temperature (in my case to try and cool the room down) at night other than to open the window or turn on the ceiling fan (I'm guessing they added the ceiling fans to try and address this problem).

4. For $200+ plus a night, you should have a reasonable expecation of a thermostat you can set and the heating cooling system will automatically adjust to the appropriate temp.

5. The biggest issue I had was with the in-room heating and cooling system.

6. In summary, you can only control heat in the winter months and cooling in summer months.

7. I've stayed at this ES in years past and found it quite pleasant - however, I do remember being on one of the top floors in a past winter and finding it quite hard to cool off the room due to the heat naturally rising in a large open atrium like ES.

8. As others have noted, the only way to cool the room after October is to open the window and turn on the ceiling fan provided in the bedroom.
