We wanted a
decent
place in a good location and didn't want to break the bank on a spot where we were only going to quickly use the pool and sleep for three nights.

My boyfriend works for Orient Express Hotels and we were clearly not expecting 5 star services, but I was expecting a
decent
, clean room.

We were given a quite spacious room with a
decent
bathroom, but even more important everything was very clean.

However, this was quickly negated by the fact that our tiny room was in the windowless basement (which is creepily decorated like a stage set of a Georgetown street)The room itself was clean, and
decent
ly furnished (although nothing at all like the nice photos that the Latham posts on their website).

I`ve few positive things to say about this hotel, so I`ll start with the good: It`s got a
decent
location, there`s an okay but tiny swimming pool, a relatively large conference room in the basement for events, and a four star restaurant.

Here are my observations:Good: great location -- central Georgetown, luxury toiletries (Rusk, when I was there), towel warmer in the bathroom,
decent
(and clean) sheets on the bed.

Breakfast is not included and is available in separate property, a
decent
though self-service cafe 1-2 mins walk outdoors.

Hotels with a $200/night rack rate ought to offer
decent
closet space and a great shower to start the day.
