1. It wasn't particularly clean- the edges of the bathroom were a little grimy, which always makes me wonder about attention to detail in general sanitary issues throughout the room (but it was mostly pretty clean).

2. From the minute we walked in, the staff gave us a tip on free weekend parking nearby (rather than pricey valet), helped us plan our touring that day, and were generally friendly and happy to be there.

6. One small block from Union Station - lots of different modes of transportation available - from bicycles, buses, cabs, double decker buses - we were just pleased with this hotel in general.

7. I'm generally low-maintenance for housekeeping staff (leaving my Do Not Disturb sign on the door since I don't need daily upkeep).
