1. Upon check-in, I was offered (and gratefully accepted) a complimentary glass of champagne, and was pleasantly surprised to find that I'd been upgraded to a suite, even though I'm only a Silver member.

3. After all if you accept a reservation for 3 you can hardly expect that they can sleep in one double bed?The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, the location is awesome as it is around the corner from the Farragut North Metro stop, and about a 4 block walk to the White House, plenty of restaurants and casual dining spots, the ever present drug store, as well as ATM's.

6. When I called down and told them the room wasn't acceptible they were entirely gracious and offered to send up another key.

7. We were offered a room on the front of the hotel with a view and accepted it, but when we got upstairs we realized we were looking out over an air-conditioning unit in a glorified air shaft--not on the front of the building.

8. Later that nite we wanted reservations to a very chic restaurant, the concierge did their majic and we were accepted at prime time.
