The traffic didn't really affect us but we were tired after a long drive so slept until the morning,
unfortunate
ly we were woken by cases being pulled which does echo a bit.

unfortunate
ly the hotel we would have liked to stay at just across the street on Mason wouldn't accept one-night reservations.

I am not exaggerating when I say that it was about 10 degrees hotter in the room than it was outside, and honestly, if this was the only problem, I wouldn`t have minded, but
unfortunate
ly that was only the tip of the iceberg.

unfortunate
ly, now that we were awake ( and I mean VERY awake because the sound is so loud and jarring that it truly scares the life out of you each time it happens) we are now VERY aware of how uncomfortable the bed is.

unfortun
eately, Santa Barbara is a supply and demand town - so my advise is to book your trip early and expect to pay from $250 to $300 per night for a hotel that at least represents the tranquility of Santa Barbara and or a jacuzzi.
