The room had tons of ants but ants I can deal with, construction behind the hotel starting at 6am went to take a shower in the dirty bathroom either freezing cold or scalding hot water no in between the best part was when we were packing up to leave we put our bags on the bed and found a cockroach so I went to the front desk to complain and the manager was arguing with me telling me it was not a cockroach it was a waterbug (i have pictures to prove that it is in fact a cockroach) and disregarded everything else i said but she did tell me i would be getting a discount on the room (only 20%).

2. The breakfast is great, the parking is free, you have a pair of pillows to choose between hard and soft (nicely done), nothing to complain about it.

3. It's standard motel fare and it's not on the beach, but who can complain when a lot of other stuff in Santa Barbara is $125-$150/night? There's a free breakfast with cereal, oatmeal, and donuts (again, standard motel stuff).
