Mold in the bathroom around the window, a broken cold water faucet in the shower, my husband kept hitting his head on the shower head (he is 5'10'' shower head 5')and when he turned the water off, well at least the hot water, he was blasted with a nice sray of cold since it kept going around and around as he tried to make it stop.

Renovations have been made, admittedly, but the signature motel 'givens' remain intact: thin walls, very small and dark units, cars coming and going at all hours, and at least in our room, broken window blinds that did nothing to screen out lights left on in the parking lot at night, or dawn's early light.
