1. If you wish to have a coctail there you must either go to the bar and bring it with you in the elevator or find someone on the roof to call down for room service to bring it up to you - weird and pricey if it comes from room service - another reason to bring up that nice bottle you just bought from the vinery you visited with you when you go up.

3. If you do not trust your employees to make decisions that may go against policy for the sake of an extenuating circumstance, then how imcompetent do you perceive your employees to be? After a rather frustrating time of trying to get in touch with a decison-maker (we were repeatedly told that 'no one would be available until 3pm-a weird and seemingly arbitrary time).

5. Guests of the hotel are still free to enjoy the pool but it's kinda weird b/c you are walking around in your bikini and some feet away and in perfect view there is a ceremony going on.
