1. We checked into the room which the furniture in the room was a bit dated but not bad.

I had read the bad reviews and was rather apprehensive, but either it turned out that I got one of the second half (the 'better' half), which would be hard to imagine because we were in a room right behind the service entry with the A/C on full blast (not a bother one bit) or the place overall is just not that bad.

3. So maybe it was a bad light switch, maybe it was a bad TV, maybe it was none of the above and cause unknown - but in any case - I would be very concerned about the wiring integrity of this establishment.

8. I called Marriott to let them know that one of their properties was reflecting this badly on their good name and and they told me it had nothing to do with them, that they would forward the complaint to the manager of the hotel.
