3. If you want to avoid the Riverwalk restaurants, there is a trattoria in the hotel, a wonderful cantina a block away, with very reasonable prices, or you can go south on S.

4. Service is very friendly---there aren't many employees, so the hotel has a mom 'n pop feel (oftentimes feels kind of dead, but that's great if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the convention hotels).
