1. I would think most average travelers not being familiar with the place would rather not stay here, but like I said, it's OK - just a little weird.

2. It's hard to describe - at a Residence Inn by Marriott for example, they do this similar concept well - to make you feel like you live there and are happy to be doing so - here you feel a little more like "are you sure I am in the right place?" Overall it felt, well, weird.
