2. We were mostly there to see family in North Portland, so the location wasn't a problem, but if you are trying to enjoy portland, this place is pretty far north.

4. I went to the front desk to report the fan wasn't working in the bathroom, and someone quickly came out, flipped the breaker, but it didn't fix the problem.

5. Downtown Portland is about five minutes away, so we could stay out late and not have a problem driving.

6. It is situated in a horrible place off the freeway with one lane to get back on, and I literally sat there at a light to turn back onto the freeway, for 45 minutes at the 5:30 traffic problems.

7. The internet also worked great, I have stayed at hotels before that don't always have the greatest speed, not a problem here.

8. ;-) But most of the problems we had with our stay here could have been alleviated by having enough staff to take care of maintenance issues, timely check-in, etc.

9. The problem was that the night manager, still on his own from what we could ascertain, did not know that a diesel engine that has been run out of fuel has to be re-primed.
