1. I asked at the desk if this was usual as we were booked for 3 nights and the desk clerk was very apologetic and gave me 2 $10 coupons towards breakfast.

The got louder and louder; I called the front desk, they were very apologetic----and I got into that classic traveler's dilemma; hold onto the hope that things will get better OR ask for another room?I would have moved ---but as they dispersed through the hotel, they yelled and partied up and down the halls '.
