1. The rooms were pricey for what they were but that was typical Orlando and we had advantage of group/block rates.

3. I'd recommend the Lone Star steak House and the Bahama Breeze restaurants for food close by - pricey but worth it.

The nearby restaurants are all great - Bahama Breeze especially - we also tried the seafood restaurant nearby for another meal, which we found quite pricey - also nearby is an Applebees which was really good value and a short walk or drive away is the Crossroads where there are lots of restaurants to choose from.

7. Just opposite the marriott village is a couple of restaurants, the steak house is very nice but the fish restaurant is okay but not brilliant and a bit pricey.

9. If you do not take your navigation system with you to Orlando or decline the hire firms pricey loan of one then this hotel is excellent for directions (they have printouts that are detailed of the main attractions and shopping malls).
