1. Negative: Rooms are tiny and uncomfortable, Lack of proper comfortable furniture in the room, Stairs and more stairs, Maids that do not understand basic English, Spotty internet, Parking charge of $28 a day, Huge Waterbugs in the upper stairways, My room had chintzy home made night stands built into the wall that easily could be broken off, the lounge chair had a huge cigarette hole in middle, cheap industrial floor rug/mat served as carpet.

Some areas to further improve: we reported a broken chair but it wasn't fixed during our stay; our bed for some reason doesn't have a mattress pad which I thought odd and that made the bed sheet crumpled up easily at night (I meant to talk to the staff when I was there but always got distracted and forgot to do so).

3. There were no blood stains, no rats, no broken toilet seats, or any of the other stuff people did or didn't encounter.

4. there were rat traps in the halls, no lights in hallways, open courtyard with easy access to non hotel guest, no formal parking (just a dark alley behind the hotel), dirty sheets, broken toilet seats, no batteries in smoke detector, tvs are in the closet, & way to much to describe.

5. The cracks in the plaster, NO curtains, dirty air filtering, broken toilet seats, tiny rooms, dirty floors, unappealing bed linens, rat traps in the corridors, unsecure entrances and the nightmare goes on.

6. Aside from the broken remote - Duct Taped back together, one bed lamp that was burnt out, the dated TV and the floors that were obviously not swept/Swiffered/mopped before our arrival.

8. Ironically, the front desk DOES keep a huge ice chest filled with ice for the guests to compensate for the broken ice machine.

10. Some of the windows were so old they were broken and could barely close, the floor felt like I was on a sliding board because it was so lompe-sided, and there was a small 13' flat screen tv on the wall that had very bad reception.
