1. Both mornings the hot water in the hotel ran out at two completely different times, making me think it was not simply bad timing.

2. The construction didn't bother us in our room, but it did prove a bit annoying in the breakfast room, but nothing too bad.

3. The only bad thing, you can hear people in the halls talking and when they close their doors it sounds like they are slamming.
"I can't say enough about the Management " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/7/2011 Vote
4. Hotel under renovation, which looks like it will be great, and that is distracting, but not too bad.
"Not as good as it used to be " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/31/2011 Vote
5. Free parking, easy $6-7 cab ride downtown (not a bad walk when it's not 90+ degrees).

6. There's nothing particularly great or especially bad about this hotel.

8. I missed fresh fruits, the fruit salad was tasteless, but all things considered, breakfast wasn't bad.
"Huge beautiful rooms in great hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/1/2010 Vote
9. The bad: 1) Fairly old rooms: I've stayed in dozens of Hilton family properties (including at least 25 Hampton Inns) and I've seen much nicer rooms; 2) Slightly below-par breakfast options for a Hampton Inn (the waffle batter was empty, the fruit selection was poor, and the yogurt was only 'light and fit' variety); 3) Bathroom definitely needs updating; 4) Bed was very uncomfortable: I tossed and turned a lot during the night and I woke up with a stiff back.
"Fair Hampton Inn " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/15/2010 Vote
10. Only real downside to the hotel was price - seemed a little pricey compared to some other hotels around, though with some nice amenities (including a paper delivered to your door in the morning), a nice late checkout of noon, and free parking, it's not a bad stay, especially if you want to be within a stone's throw of the edge of Vanderbilt campus.
"Nice rooms, fine location near Vandy, slightly expensive. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/4/2009 Vote
