1. We did have an adjoining door to their room, maybe that contributed to the lack of privacy, not sure? But we've traveled extensively and have never heard anything like it in any other hotel.

2. Our room wasn't available due to lack of housekeeping staff and the front desk clerk did nothing to proactively accommodate us even with our insistence there was something to be done.
