After the 2 blatantly obvious problems you start paying much closer attention to other smaller issues which included: faint streaks on the wall spanning the length of the hallway from the housekeeping carts rubbing against them; slight peeling of wallpaper near the seams in both rooms; dust/dirt in corner of bathroom behind the door; dirty residue on inside handle of bathroom door; slight dark (coffee?) stains in sink where it wasn't fully cleaned up to counter level; couple towels that still had stains after going through laundry; and lastly, just a single sheet covering the bare mattress of the bed - shouldn't there be a mattress pad?? Have stayed at Intercontinentals in the past and been very pleased but this was quite the opposite.
