1. One thing that did happen( which was not a problem with this particular property) was that we had a problem with our online reservation.

3. Or though the hotel is about 20 minutes away from Beale street, I didn't find this a problem.

4. As far as the area was concerned, it didn't feel all that safe, we would not be walking around at night, however we did not have any problems or see anything that can verify this.

5. Slept there one night (the night of August 9th) on an unexpected layover in Memphis because of mechanical problems.

6. Not sure how they made it work but our problem was that it looked like a DVD screen (showing choices like 'play' and 'scene selection' ) but there was no button on the remote to activate it.

9. One drawback is that the hotel does not have its own bar or restaurant so maybe a bit of a problem if you don't have a car as Downtown Memphis is about 8 miles away.
