1. This was nice as we heard no noise on our floor even though the hotel had a ton of kids staying there due to the tournaments.

The toilet kept running despite jiggling the handle, we were on the freeway side of the building which made for some noise (went to a drugstore and bought some earplugs), one of the glasses at the bar was chipped and cracked, and the wallpaper in the bathroom was really tired and outdated and peeling off the wall in a couple of places.

5. I was using Starwood points for the stay and didn't think I would get a great room but the check in agent could see that I was tired and didn't have kids with me so she upgraded me to the Executive Floor and a room at the end of a hall where there were no kids and no noise.
