4. Oh, and we enjoyed looking at all of these things with the huge magnifying glass that was in the desk (strange) The tile in the bathroom was tan with white, moldy grout and it smelled like mold.

5. I agree with other comments that rooms are getting a little long in the tooth and could use some renovation but for an 'old' hotel, they are still wonderfully maintained (there's no 'musty smell' issue as one reviewer mentioned).

10. Since the building has a long history including being a welfare hotel I think it will take more than opening windows and new paint to get rid of the smell, that`s the smell of history.
