1. He was very polite and thankful that I told him about it and said he would take care of the problem.

2. My problem with this is that while she is 20 or 30 doors down the ridiculously long hallway, every door is propped open for anyone to come in and out of freely.

That isn't a major problem but in the long trek to my room, I was dismayed to see dirty glassware outside one of the guest room doors when I checked in Friday night, still there when I left the hotel early on Saturday morning (OK, too early for housekeeping, I thought) and it was STILL there when I checked out a little before 6 a.

6. I found it difficult to follow the city street signs to get there from the airport; more of a problem with Charlotte airport than with Holiday Inn.

9. I called ahead to request a non smoking king room 4 days before travel and was told it would not be a problem, when I arrived a very flippant front desk clerk told me the hotel was full.
