1. We were in Boulder visiting the campus, and the hotel was a bit out of the way for that, but Boulder is so easy to navigate that the location wasn't a problem at all.

3. I am rather certain that they would have tried to fix it at night, since when I mentioned the problem before breakfast they offered to fix it immediately so that I could use before I checked out.
