1. This is because downstairs there is a bar, which insists on playing music very loudly late into the night, butinsulation is such that the noise still travels four floors up.

4. It's the perfect combination --- hip, friendly, and not loud at all (the lounge was active the nights we stayed, but when we got to our room, we didn't hear a thing and it was as quiet as a cabin in Vermont.

5. location is perfect for exploring boston, the T is right outside the hotel, the lobby area is very small but functional and staff was very friendly and helpful, our room was on the 6 floor (queen room ) good size room, sofa, tv/dvd, music system, very comfortable bed, bathroom was beautifully tiled and had plenty of towels, it was a bit noise from a/c unit on roof outside but no loud enough to keep you awakebreakfast is a small area in lounge where you help yourself to drinks, bagels, spreads etc, enough to give you a start in the morning hotel also has a small bar area returning to Boston for Thankgiving, wish we could cancel hotel we've booked and change to Charlesmark Hotel.
