1. alarm clock, Motel 6 pillows and mattress, no closet to hang my coat, water marks and plaster peeling on the ceiling, filth in the vent above the bathroom sink (warning - don't look up when you gargle with mouthwash) etc.

2. It wasn't bad enough to keep me from staying there again but just be aware that your room might have stained carpet, a fridge missing one leg with a towel stuffed under it holding it up, a leaning microwave missing one leg and a chipped, peeling desk (all of these were issues in my room.

3. The walls have smears and battle scars from from previous furniture arrangements, the bathroom's plaster is cracked and peeling, the bathtub wasn't exactly sparkling but what bothered me the most was that the sheets were clearly not changed.
