The area also feels a bit dangerous, which didn't stop us from walking to dinner across the square, but was reinforced the next morning when we were having breakfast at the Fells Point market on the square surrounded, I kid you not, by a parade of at least seven policeman in full swat team gear (bullet proof vests etc).

3. Everything you could want is at your fingertips, be it good food and drinks, quaint shops, or in my case, water-taxis (I was sleep deprived, so walking everywhere would have been a dangerous to my person).

4. The glass shelf above the sink was not secured properly, so things slid off and the shelf itself was in danger of coming loose.
