2. Our 2 teenage daughters were a bit disappointed that I hadn't booked a room on the Strip ( close to all the 'action') but reading reviews of some of the hotels on the Strip on our return to NZ I was pretty happy that I had made the right decision.

3. I wasn't disappointed - to pay nearly $40 for a room for a family was super cheap compared to what we would have to pay in NZ.
