1. Ok, I don't know if this was bed bug preventative or for 'soilage', but either way, it does NOT elicit a good night's sleep.

2. I pulled back the sheets and lifted up the mattress to check for any bed bugs and I'm happy to say, we did not see any bugs, not even a spider, during our entire week stay.

3. Upon checking out of the room and speaking to the manager they informed us that they do not provide refunds for bed bugs (after informing them what our future plans were) they hesistently refunded us the money for the complete stay.

4. Needless to say there were some other visitors to our room - getting into bed we noticed a bug on the bed under further investigation we discovered that both beds in the room were heavily infested with bed bugs.

5. I had painful itchy wells for several weeks and I am now terrified to go back to this or ANY other hotel after researching all the information out there on bed bugs and how easily they can come home with you.

7. I pulled the sheets back and saw what looked like small black drops of "something" and had I known more information about bed bugs I would have immediately requested another room.

8. Brought the bug to an entomologist at UC Davis who confirmed my initial impression that it was a bed bug.
