3. All that being said, we still love the staff at the property and feel a little guilty posting a negative review about the Rio, but thought it was necessary information to pass along.

4. negatives include, water pressure, noise throughout the night from the locomotives on the nearby train tracks, CRT TV, thermostat is 6' from vent (constent on/off), distance from the strip and charging by weight for FedEx deliveries.

Positives: valet, front desk, room itself, cleanliness of room, waitstaff in casino, cost of rooms(with Harrah;s comp program)negatives: food costs, air qualtiy in casino, VERY tight slots, and buy in amounts/per hand for table games,away from strip or anything to do relayed to Las Vegas,bell caps.

Everything about the Hotel was more than adequate The check-in was fast and asking for a specific room was not a hassle We arrived 4 hours ahead of check-in so the bell hops took care of our luggage for us, no problem When we finally got to our room we were very suprised at how large the rooms were They were very clean and the beds were comfortable The casino was fairly large and there were quite a few shops to spend your money at There were lots of shows taking place in the theatre and the disco on the roof top was going all night There was really no need to leave the hotel except for the food pricesThe only negative about the hotel was the price of the buffets We ate all our meals next door at the Gold Coast hotel and casino a 2 minute walk from the Rio A real deal for thier buffet Over all the Rio was well worth the money We are planning another trip back.
