4. While we try to try new restuarants and avoid the fast food joints, it is a great place to meet traveling companions while having a coffee/snack.

5. avoid Baja Fresh in Excalibur (food was cold even though it was prepared in front of us, Taco Bell is better, seriously) and MORE the buffet at Luxor (the tamales were the only thing good, terrible sushi selection).

7. the hotel and casino could do with a face life as its getting a little shabby but at the price what do you expect ideal location handy for the bus down the strip but get it at the tropicana if going down town this avoids the crowds outside the mgm avoid the breakfast i would not feed it to the dog at $14 a go you better walking down town a little to Dennys l.

8. I will happily pay more for a room elsewhere on my next trip to avoid these kinds of sales tactics, which sadly means avoiding MGM Resorts hotels in Vegas, it seems.

10. Would we stay there again? Now that we know how to avoid most of the smoke it's not a bad hotel so yes.
