2. Airconditioners are window units that cycle on and off, so you have a really loud noise then complete silence (makes it a bit hard to sleep).

9. Doors between rooms could be a noise problem- we were lucky because our neighbors were quiet but I could tell that it could be a big problem if they came home late from the surrounding bars and started to party.
