2. Overall, The Austin Motel has potential to be a really cool place & has way more character than a chain, but there seems to be a lack of interest in keeping it maintained well & therefore that makes it a bit of an overpriced place to stay.

4. Although the rooms are quite small (we stayed in #132) and lack modern conveniences such as alarm clocks and Internet access, they were clean and humorously kitschy -- this motel definitely has more personality than the chain hotels/motels.
