1. The hotel staff were lovely and friendly, the gift shop staff were rude and only were after your money but it had all the bits and pieces you would expect.

7. We had several bad experiences at this hotel in years past (rude staff, dirty bathroom, loud hallways, freeway noise, inadequate parking) but we had read some nice reviews and knew the hotel had been refurbished (and we really needed a room).
