1. We had a room overlooking very busy Market Street and with the window closed there was no noise at all.

9. As young women we felt uncomfortable being out at night but didn't want to be in either, there was a crack in our window and we were overlooking a main road as you can imagine we were woken early by shouting, horns and traffic noise.
