Two floors down, the exhauster from the kitchen runs very noisy 24/7, so you have
noise
plus the kitchen smelling.

Also realized that unusual
noise
I heard during night was a mouse dragging a sticky trap to free himself.

Although our room overlooked the super busy Embarcadero, street
noise
wasn't a problem.

Not only did this make the room dark, it also meant that there was
noise
from the extractors.

We went to the room which had a maintenance man fixing a light fixture in the bathroom and a drilling
noise
that made the walls shake.

Even though our room had windows on the Embarcadero only 3 floors up, we were not bothered by street
noise
.

The walls are a little thin and you can hear a bit of hallway
noise
, but overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Decent nights sleep - however we could hear the
noise
from the bar and were woken on 2 nights around 2am by people shouting in the corridor - but if there is a bar on the premises I suppose it can only be expected.
