1. The hotel is on two busy streets, so there is street noise, but I've never stayed in a San Fran hotel that wasn't noisy.

6. The hotel was clean, the breakfast area was too small to accomodate all the guests, it was on a busy road within 2 junctions, lots of traffic all night and only one set of lifts which were very slow and noisy and the staff do not like the british.

10. A REAL hotel (not a noisy motor lodge) with excellent friendly staff, a comfortable lobby, a convenient free lite-breakfast buffet, and a super location near Fisherman`s Wharf (but away from the noise and bustle), and close to public transportation.
