1. If you are a light sleeper, you may have some issues including street noise since you can't get any higher up than 5 stories.

2. From the friendly front desk clerks (the men just need to smile more), to the AWESOME bartender (never got his name but he was terrific), to the funny concierge personnel (always laughing with a nice story of places to go), to the great housekeeper who even took the time to fluff our doggies bed and she cleaned the room spotless too, to the evening manager who assisted with some minor rate issues, ALL of the personnel were great.

3. We were on the 5th floor so facing the street was not an issue, I cannot speak to being on a lower floor, as there was a bus stop below our room.

4. No real 'issues' - just a rather gloomy entrance, rooms with a peeling tub (seriously Marriott????), and EXPENSIVE room service.

8. My bathtub is peeling, I am not sure what the issue is, but it looks like paint is falling right off the side of the tub.

9. The food issue is not a big deal, if you are visiting San Francisco, you will always be eating out.

10. Which brings me to the issue as to why there was not a safe avail in the room? And lastly the beds where old and very uncomfortable, so if you stay here expecting atleast the well know comfort of Marriotts beds your out of luck.
