We were unimpressed so complained at the front desk and the guy we dealt with was very sexist and was
rude
to my wife and did not try to fix things but simply said that we should find another hotel.

The homeless people can be a bit of a pain asking you for money on every corner but if you are sensible and not

I spent the first night at another hotel - the Hotel Union Square - and it was terrible -
rude
staff, uncomfortable rooms, ridiculously thin walls, and literally the USC Trojan band outside my room chatting up a storm.
