1. After reading reviews on the noisy nightclub next door, we requested a room on the opposite side of the building.

2. We were next to the janitors closet which was a little noisy at some points as well.

3. we complained about it, members of the staff looked pretty used to this type of request and gave us another room, even smaller than the first one, still noisy but at least the wall wasn't trembling lol good location but that is about it, if you can avoid the place, i suggest you do.
"stay away from this place, this is a 'con'fusion " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/1/2011 Vote

7. Pros: Excellent location (2 mins walk to the tram terminal and Market Street, 5 mins to Union Square), very spacious and comfortable rooms, friendly staffCons: It can be very noisy late at night (we were on the top floor but still heard cars, sirens, partygoers from the club immediately next door), the 'breakfast' is superficial (small selection, you pick up what you want and have to eat it in your own room), valet parking is expensive and a hassle (you need to give at least 30 mins notice, and the drop-off parking spot at the hotel entrance is often taken by non-patrons - we almost got a parking ticket because of this).
"Great hotel in the centre of the city " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/29/2010 Vote
8. There is a noisy club somewhere downstairs but didnt really bother us.
"Looks can be deceiving " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/26/2010 Vote
9. The hotel clerk did warn us that 2nd floor will be most likely noisy from street down below & most famous nigh club next to the hotel (if you stay @ hotel, club will be giving discount cover charge).
"Great location, accessible, charming boutique hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/23/2010 Vote
10. We did not have a chance to visit the exercise room or the club, although on our last day someone staying on the second floor stated it was very noisy so I would recommend not staying on the second floor if you want a quiet room to sleep.
