1. We requested a top floor away from Lombard and had no noise issues.

3. The manager said that the room had been condemned and closed due to a bed bugs issue for a year but had been opened two days earlier since they got clearance from the SF health inspector.

5. The only issue is traffic noise from Lombard Street - if you are light sleeper ask for a room at the back.

If internet access is not a major issue for you, then the Coventry is a great place -- conveniently located, nice enough accommodations, and free parking -- but if you require internet access during your stay, do not book here unless they can assure you that they have resolved the issues they were having in the summer of 2009.
