1. The pool is nice, not huge but big enough and it was never really busy, so it was not a problem.

2. But, if you're going there more for the party or single scene, and not planning to spend a lot of time sleeping peacefully, and more concerned about price and location, then you shouldn't have a problem with the Tides' bed.

4. As promised, there was a glorious view of the ocean, just across Ocean Drive, which can get busy with traffic but that wasn't a problem.

6. problem number two, we were flying out the following day at 6pm, so we used the pool in the afternoon, but as the hotel was full they could not offer a room to shower, so I had to shower outside at the pool shower in full view of other guests - a strange thing for me, the staff did bring soap etc and a hair dryer but I had to use that in the corridor which was also a bit strange.

7. problem number one, it is on the main drag and had a lot of noise from revellers outside on the street, not the hotels fault but a consideration when you book.

9. Unlike some other hotels, it did not appear to be a problem with the staff that we were early (they still seemed delighted to see us) and fortunately we were told our room was ready.
