1. If you're a light sleeper or going to relax, sadly this place will not be for you, everything else was great but unless youre partying, its really very bad.

2. Second bad thing is the NOISE at night ,u ave to be ready to go to sleep late due to the very loud music and DJ screaming on is mic next to the hotel.

3. One very bad thing was to advertise on there website Molton Brown bath product where in fact u only get cheap lower range.

4. First bad point is that u ave to give your credit card to a stranger to run downstair for an autorized credit and aving to wait 20 min for that card to be return by a young bell boy or valet guy?Don't think it was very secure and was not expecting my card to be in so many different hand.

6. Only bad point is the WIFI is not free and charges you for each device you connect (expensive when you have 2x laptops, 2x iPhones.

I have always wanted to stay at the Tides hotel, I stay on Ocean Drive, South Beach each year for my holiday, we have been going there for more than 15 years now and I have always wanted to stay at the Tides since it opened, we got a great deal through ebookers so we managed to get 5 nights there for a reasonable rate, the hotel is outstanding since its makeover a while ago, gone is the clinical stark feel, in are stunning rugs,bathrooms, bedding and warmth with stunning hospitality, the 'butlers' look after everything for you, a welcome drink on arrival, pool butlers around the pool, the food by the way around the pool is gorgeous, I have a bad back and unfortunately it took a bad turn for the worse whilst I was there due to the flight and the hotel could not do enough for me, all rooms face the ocean, ours was a little noisy due to the bar next door but it stopped about midnight(amazing for Miami.

10. bad points--the room itself was not great--leaky AC unit outside the room gave the corridor/entry way to room a very musty smell.
