1. We stayed on the top floor facing the street (Diversey) and it was a bit noisy with sirens going up and down all the time; it didn't disturb us however if you are a light sleeper you might have an issue.

2. But that said, I tried a street view room and the noise was quite disturbing.

3. I'd like to note that if any noise disturbed me, my bathroom had complimentary (wrapped/sanitary) ear plugs nestled by the shampoo and conditioner.

4. The do not disturb sign needs to be respected.
"Reasonably priced, tidy hotel in convenient location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/8/2011 Vote
5. Even though we had a do not disturb sign on the door housekeeping kept calling and coming up to see if we wanted the room cleaned.

6. Now while I can understand the need to remind guests of hotel policies, I do not feel it was necessary to enter our room, with all of our valuables laying out, they could have easily slid it under the door, or called us, but instead someone basically made us feel unsafe by just walking in when it was obvious we were not interested in being disturbed.
"Ok, but will go elsewhere next time! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/28/2010 Vote
7. Now the reason we will not be returning is we left the room to venture out, and left the do not disturb tag on the door, but upon our return we noticed that someone had been in and left a note on our laptop stating that if we continued to smoke, we would be fined 200.
