All guest rooms contain a snack bar which I recommend you don't go anywhere near if you'd prefer to
avoid
a shock at check out, but that's typical of hotel room snack bars and not altogther surprising.

Unlike many other hotel, the concierge was helpful and able to spot my wishes (restaurant speaking) and made me
avoid

This past time we stayed on the 26th floor - there was still some noise from Times Square - which I don't think is
avoid
able.

As far as the location --- I have only myself to blame; as a New Yorker I try to
avoid
that entire area.

Unless you have time on your hands, suggest to
avoid
breakfast in the cafe on ground floor, very slow indeed.

It has Times Square right at its doorstep, but since you enter from a side street you can actually
avoid
it if you want to.

Times Square is amazing, but next time (business or personal) I'd likely stay in the Financial District or nearby to
avoid
the crowds and have a nicer hotel.
