I would
avoid
sitting near the windows because every time someone comes in you get a major draft hitting you.

This hotel is fairly central for walking to different areas of the city, try to plan your return from sixth street from the north to
avoid
the steep hills to the west.

avoid
the freeway noise.

When you're coming back to the hotel from the Market, definitely go up Pike Street to
avoid
the steep incline, it's more gradual (turn right on 6th avenue to hit the hotel).

When we asked, the valet parking attendant suggested that we park our car on the street to
avoid
the hotel parking fee since parking on the street is free on the weekends.

Nice hotel and great location, but if your room is on the 10th floor or lower, ask for the West Side of the building to
avoid
interstate traffic noise.
