1. So, overall a lovely, welcoming lobby with good staff; rooms very well decorated and cared for; but issues that will make us question staying again.

2. This visit, we booked our room for 4 nights through the Victoria Clipper, the ferry from Victoria to Seattle and were quite disappointed by a very small room (which loses a large corner to the stairwell just behind it), the lack of an in-room coffee maker, and other small service issues.

3. The hotel, as others have noted, is close to I-5, and while you can hear some traffic during the day, at night this is a non issue.

4. Be sure to ask for a room that looks out on the park because there are a few interior rooms that are on the alley and early morning noise can be an issue.

5. The only 2 minor issues: the bathroom is quite small (you need to close the door to even access the shower) and quite old (old tiles, old fixtures, just a new piece of granite on the sink).

10. My only other issue with the room was that the bathrobes (again, I enjoy my hotel bathing experiences) were very old and worn.
