1. I liked the fact that it is a little remote from the town (an easy drive but not an easy walk) to keep the noise level down and keep it more intimate.

2. Area and hotel was quiet at night, no road noise, but port can be noisy during the day and the chickens are noisy in the morning but you will have them anywhere in Kauai.

4. I've heard guests and reviews complaining about the roosters noise, I admit there are roosters but I personally wasn't bothered, I guess it depends on your own sensitivity.

5. I even miss the noise of the chickens, but you get that with the posh places at Poipu or Princeville at many times the price too.
